[Wasabi Bytes]
Wasabi Bytes is the sensational Bangkok-based electronica/rock/hip-hop outfit best known for their 2014 collaboration with Ice T producer Afrika Islam in the much heralded classic "Rage of the Machine". They went on to produce the seminal album "Loop Soup" last year and they're starting the year with a bang, at Live Lounge with their band featuring wordsmith 0. jnknslry .0 on lead vox, playing recent singles such as Like Games Did, Drop and Chaotic as well as some of their fresh, new material. They come off the back of a successful year having toured South Korea, China, Cambodia and Vietnam.
[Bang Sue Electrix]
Bang Sue Electrix are an Electronic/Hip Hop band comprising of Belle and Pavel, fusing the raw, powerful lyricism of Belle, with producer Pavel’s brilliance blending electrical sounds. Pavel is able to create a seamless synergy between his samples and Belle’s memorable verses. This is a combination of two artists, bringing together their passion in music in a beautiful artistic collaboration, made in Bang Sue with a strong Bang Kapi flavor.
[Claire Stanley]
Claire is an all-round artist, who recently starred in the highly acclaimed theater production Spoonface Steinberg as the main character “Spoonface”. Now she’s returning to the stage to star in her own production, where she will dazzle the crowd with her magnificent vocals and her mesmerizing skills with the loop pedal. She has an eclectic range of influences from soul and blues to rock and electro. Her music evolves depending on who she is playing with. She loves anything that gets her foot tapping. With the help of her loop pedal expect a generous amount of catchy beats and soulful harmonies.
[Maurizio Ghisleni]
Maurizio arrived in Bangkok four years ago with his Masters in Classical Guitar, gained at the Conservatory in Italy. A lifetime of cultivating his guitar skills culminated in him performing at Wonderfruit Festival two years ago and making countless collaborations in the city of Angels, such as "Two Blind Mice", "Balcony Project", "Daeng Marley", "Morning Folktale Project", and "Venn."
Maurizio will treat the FSS audience to a sample of some of his original melodies as he seamlessly traverses genres and let's his sprit fly.
[DJ Rory Breaker-Morant]
After the last live music performance, Bangkok’s own renegade of funk DJ Rory Breaker-Morant will be keeping things lit until the early hours with a diverse blend of musical styles & genres, notably highlighted by hip hop, breaks, soul, disco & his own brand of "consenting adult funk".
