Bangkok Lyrical Lunacy proudly presents a special edition of our Spoken Word Poetry Open Mic Show to be held on Thursday, November 16th at Live Lounge Bkk!

This week on the show we team up yet again with the wonderful team at Bangkok Rising to commemorate International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Bangkok RIsingis a volunteer women’s organization that has organized awareness-raising and fundraising events in Bangkok since 2012. Bangkok Rising has been working hard to organize art, dance, drama and spoken word events, educational workshops for school kids as well as an annual large scale International Women’s Day flashmob event in Bangkok every year since 2013. All events are done, to raise awareness for the need to end gender-based violence and promote gender equality.

To all Performers who wish to take the stage, rest easy knowing that adhering to the theme is NOT mandatory. So feel free to use your creativity to do whatever your little pitter-pattery heart desires with that...or not. Just come ready to pour all you got into your performance!
For those just looking to watch and enjoy the night, be sure to get there well before the show starts to get yourself a good a spot in the front with the best view before they're all taken!
Sit back and enjoy a drink to wash back a heaping helping of BkkLyLu's World Famous Tom Yum Soup for the Soul.
Performers, please be aware that open mic slots are limited, but we do try our very best to accommodate everyone who signs up. For those who manage to sign up after all slots have been filled, we have a standby list that we use in the case that we have time to spare, or if other performers cancel, do not show up, etc.
