LNSO แสดงคอนเสิร์ตโดยเฉลี่ย 50 การแสดงต่อปีทั้งในลิธัวเนียและประเทศต่างๆทั่วโลก เช่น เกือบทุกประเทศในทวีปยุโรป ญี่ปุ่น แอฟริกาใต้ เกาหลีใต้ รวมถึงสถานแสดงดนตรีที่มีชื่อเสียงอาทิ Musikverein ใน กรุง Vienna, ฟิลฮาร์โมนิคฮอลล์ในกรุง Cologne และ Berlin, Barbican Centre ในมหานคร London, Alte Oper ใน เมือง Frankfurt, Metropolitan และ Suntory Hall ในกรุง Tokyo และ Royal Concertgebouw ในกรุง Amsterdam เป็นต้น ที่ผ่านมา LNSO ผ่านการควบคุมวงจากวาทยกรระดับโลกมาแล้วมากมายอาทิ เช่น Kurt Masur, Cyril Diederich, Neeme Järvi, Mstislav Rostropovich, Krzysztof Penderecki และ Christoph Eschenbach รวมถึงนักดนตรีเอกของโลกที่ร่วมทำการแสดงกับวง เช่น Montserrat Caballé, Jessye Norman, Sergejus Larinas, Violeta Urmana, Emil Gilels, Daniel Pollack, Sergio Tiempo, Freddy Kempf, Mūza Rubackytė, Gidon Kremer, Leonid Kogan, Julian Rachlin, Sergej Krylov, Philippe Graffin, Mischa Maisky, Ivan Monighetti, David Geringas, Danjulo Ishizaka, Yuri Bashmet เป็นต้น
ตั้งแต่ปี 1991 วง LNSO ได้เข้าร่วมในเทศกาล GAIDA Contemporary Music Festival ซึ่งทางวงได้บันทึกเสียงทั้งในลิธัวเนียและในต่างประเทศ ในสังกัดค่ายดนตรีคลาสสิคชื่อดังของโลกเช่น Melodiya, Marco Polo, Col legno, Ella Records, Naxos และ Avie Records

Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) was founded in 1940 by composer, conductor and pianist Balys Dvarionas. In autumn 2015, Modestas Pitrėnas was appointed the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor with Robertas Šervenikas acting as the LNSO’s Second Conductor. Playing around 50 annual concerts in Lithuania and abroad, the orchestra has toured many European countries, Japan, South Africa and South Korea, and has appeared in concert venues such as Musikverein in Vienna, philharmonic halls in Cologne and Berlin, Barbican Centre in London, Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Metropolitan and Suntory Hall in Tokyo and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
The LNSO has been led by celebrated conductors like Kurt Masur, Cyril Diederich, Neeme Järvi, Mstislav Rostropovich, and Christoph Eschenbach.
