....is murder!
Frankfurt/Main in the very early nineties. What wannabe-philosophers from today’s capital of Germany years later polemized as the „Raving Revolution“, was just under way. However the Hessians preferred to party in clubs like the Omen and Dorian Gray or organized small illegal open air parties out in the woods rather than giving advantage to gigantic industrial ruins. An innocent naiv era that still today is inspiring. It’s mind child is Carsten Schuchmann alias DJ Meat.
Affected by countless Frankfurt-nights since 1990 and finally persuaded in summer 1991 through the mythical love parade Meat became one of the signboards of the city of capital. Gettings his merits on playing on unlawful parties in closed motorway service areas, ruins of houses and under bridges he emerged from a backyard-DJ to a real professional. Meat is the weight-bearing column under the famous Freebase Records shop. Founded in 1994, the store swung soon itself from a small backyard shop up to the prime address and since then it belongs to the irrefutable constants in this unstable business even far beyond Germany and the electronic scene. A few years later Meat compiled the splendid "ELECTRO FIELDS" CD for the Hamburg Density label and founded the in-house label Below which deals with everything in-between House, experimental electronic and minimal attempts. In these interfaces DJ Meat also finds himself.

ME & her...
ME & her are two musical soul-sisters bridging different cultures and talents. They bring a philosophy of "the whole is better than the sum of its parts" to the global dance floor.
Phuong is a Vietnamese-Swiss; Jen hails from the former East Germany. They love their sounds spherical, their bass lines groovy, their beats fat and their melodies infectious. Adding Jen's fondness for old school, darker electro, ME & her presents a fusion of global influences.
In short, ME & her is the story of this generation and more than a promise for the future.

Mendy Indigo...
Mendy Indigo is one of Bangkok's leading female underground DJs. One journey to Nepal changed her life – she discovered her passion for electronic music and ever since then she is on the mission to expose her sound to Techno lovers all over the world.
She started as part of the Loco Crew in her hometown Korat and continued crafting her mixing skills at the famous Ting Tong bar in Koh Chang. Since Bangkok became her home, she's been known in the scene for her distinctive sound of Techno. Over the years she’s been performing all over Asia until her dream came true and she toured in Germany, including clubs such as the unique Techno Club Sisyphos in Berlin. Today she is hosting events across Bangkok's clubbing scene including her monthly DARK & DIRTY event at Glow, Bangkok's hottest underground club. She's also a resident DJ at Bangkok's latest up and coming club, Beam. In Kuala Lumpur she is now hosting her monthly Girls Got Groove editions in The Sweatbox/Elysium, where she is making her picks of female artists from all over the world.
